Our Funds

The mission of the Animal Welfare Endowment is to reduce animal suffering and build community awareness, in which animals are treated with kindness, understanding and respect.

The Animal Welfare Endowment provides ongoing support to animals and animal rescue organizations in the five county Grand Traverse region. Use of grants include rescue and rehabilitation, emergency and life-saving veterinarian surgeries, foster program aid, spay and neuter services, trap-neuter-release programs, and education. Priority for funding is given to nonprofit, volunteer-run organizations.
